The Theme of the Winter Big Om Yoga Retreat is "Death". We theme our retreats based on the seasons and aim to truly embody the time of year that we are in. January is the dead of winter. Society at this time encourages people to set new years resolutions and pushes the "New Year, New you" energy. We feel this directly goes against nature. We’ll be moving slow, going inward and allowing for leaves that have fallen away to decay into the earth for more fertile ground for the upcoming Spring. We'll talk about literal death "The big D" and figurative death, parts of us that are continuously dying and being reborn.
THE BUNK HOUSE AT SEQUOYAH LODGE
The Bunk House at Sequoyah Lodge is a separate section of the lodge with ten rooms that sleeps up to 46 people. These rooms have a mix of bunk beds and full size beds. These rooms and full size beds are expected to be share and this is part of the unique experience of the retreat. The Bunk House has direct access to the pool and its own private shared bathrooms. It also has its own dedicated conference room and kitchen. Your ticket includes two nights stay in one of the cozy rooms, two meals, and access to the entire weekend of workshops and yoga. We have several ticket options for you two choose from during this retreat.
